I found the hotel to be a pleasant surprise in terms of Mexican standards for an economic choice. The rooms were surprisingly nice with two beds, even though my window faced the central courtyard. However, the language barrier since they only spoke Spanish was a bit challenging. The service was a mix as some were friendly and helpful, while others were not very friendly. The location on Plaza Chica-Gertrudis Bocanegra was very convenient for exploring the city center.
